The factory aluminum pistons are a huge heat sink, rapidly transmitting heat from the pads into the fluid. DRM’s stainless steel pistons insulate the fluid resulting in a more consistent brake pedal and less chance of fluid boil. When high performance or racing pads are used these pistons are considered a must.

These Stainless Steel Pistons will fit C4 J55 Calipers only

Over time your brake duct flexible hose (3.5 inch SCAT) may need to be replaced.  This hose is  the same size and material as what came in your DRM Brake duct kit (15-100 and 15-101)

Alcon has produced a Brake package for the Corvette. Alcon and DRM have aimed this package to be a true dual purpose brake setup. They perform on the street using DOT approved technology. They perform at the track using their years of racing experience.

The package includes these features the following
Mono Block caliper technology
Floating rotor (14.4 inch front and 13.5 inch rear)
Stainless steel pistons
Internal wiper style dust boots
Heavy duty mounting hardware
DRM Banjo less brake lines
Race pads are available

DRM Has been using ATI Damper systems for years in both race and street applications. Damping vibration is a very important step into building a high performance engine. We have found the ATI a bullet proof design and overcomes the factory short comings. No more leaking front seals due to the damper groove. No more rubber falling out of the factory damper.

Camber Rod Brackets.
The amount of tire in contact with the road determines grip. DRM brackets relocate the camber arms mounting point locations reducing camber change throughout the full range of suspension travel. The added traction these brackets provide will be realized at autocross, road course and drag racing events.
